Southeast Asia is a land of breathtaking beauty and nature. Many ethnic groups in Southeast Asia employ herbs and plant medicinal components. This is the first part of a documentary series about Southeast Asia. A wellness documentary film on medicinal tribes and superfoods in Southeast Asia.

It is without a doubt one of the best places to visit for wellness and natural remedies. I visited practically every Southeast Asian country, beginning with Thailand and moving on to Singapore, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

During my travels through Southeast Asia, I come across various therapeutic herbs and Superfoods. The tribes in this area are deeply connected to nature. Many exotic plants were employed to treat health concerns by indigenous healers using animal research (Zoopharmacognosy).
